From possession to performance: a way to make material preservation and a circular economic business model possible. Also in the case of household appliances, users embrace this model enthusiastically.

BSH Household Appliances, housing corporation Eigen Haard and Turntoo worked out three goals: preservation of materials from the appliances for reuse, lowering the fixed expenses for people living in social housing, and a reduction of CO2 emission. Turntoo developed the underlying model (usage instead of possession). Subsequently, the conditions for the project were elaborated and tested in a pilot in association with BSH and Eigen Haard.
